We had originally been signed up with a different company only because I was friends with the DJ. They decided to get out of the business, but offered to pass my contract over to Soundwaves. At first I was nervous since I had not heard them at another event. But within 24 hours of signing up with them, I came to realize that this was gonna be a good thing. They were very in depth in explaining all aspects of what they do and can provide. Being a former mobile DJ, it was just like how I used to do things. Only, this was on a much more professional level. They called to confirm everything a few days before our wedding, and even offered some other advice based on their years of experience. When it came the day of the wedding, we arrived earlier than expected, but they were already set up waiting for guests. Once guests started pouring in,the mood was already set. They kept things on schedule and flowing nicely. I have been to several boring weddings and several fun weddings, but this was by far the best one I have and probably will go to. I am a little biased, seeing as how it was my wedding. But even our guests have told us that no one will ever top it. Three things really set the atmosphere for a great wedding. Food, Bar, and most importantly Music. We accomplished all three, but the music definitely set ours apart. We had to extend the timing twice because the dance floor still had about 70 people on the floor at midnight. We are at the age of our friends starting to get married, and everyone of them will be getting our referral. Thank you soooooo much for helping us have the Night of Our Lives!!!

I already saw a video online from the reception which was awsome. We used Soundwave DJ's for our wedding on June 26th, 2010. Our experiences with them were positive from the very beginning-Marie was very professional and accomodating during the pre-planning, which was so nice for us. Our DJ for the wedding reception was Mike and we couldn't have been happier with his services-he was great! Very friendly, accomodating, and fun. He did a great job of balancing our "Must Plays" with other music to keep guests up and moving. Our wedding guests continue to talk about the fun we had dancing. I would highly recommend Soundwave DJ's to other couples!

Soundwave DJs provided exceptional service for our wedding day. From the moment we called to reserve our special day, they were extremely informative, helpful, and kind. Also, very patient. I not only received help planning out our music, but also advice on limo services, tailoring, and much more. I enjoyed the phone calls with Marie. The actual wedding day could not have been any better and Soundwave DJs helped make it that way. Matt was amazing from the get-go. He provided tasteful cocktail music and his introductions gave us chills and prepared us for our fun night of dancing and spending time with family and friends. From the first song to the last, he kept the guests entertained and everyone was dancing up a storm all night long. That was what we had hoped for. Also, the dining and dancing were in separate parts of the country club and Matt did an amazing job rounding everyone up for the first dance and everyone stayed on the dance floor from that moment on. Chris and I did all of our wedding planning half way across the country. We literally booked everything based on pictures and a phone call. From the first time we called Marie to set up the DJ, we knew we were in for a treat. Matt then mentioned that if we did not have a photographer, he knew someone )his wife) that would be perfect. From that initial phone call to the very last moment at the reception, we could not have been happier. Any time we had a question or wanted to meet, Matt and Marie were there. The music selection kept everyone on the dance all night, even though there was no air conditioning over the dance floor for the first half of the night. Marie took so many amazing pictures we are still going through them to start creating our wedding memories. In the end, we would not have changed a single thing about Soundwave DJ and Photo. They are truly amazing people who are so passionate about what they are doing! Thank you again for everything!

We used Soundwave DJ's for our wedding the day after Christmas. Not only were they extremely accommodating (it being only a month notice), but they were beyond professional and overall wonderful! They were very helpful in getting us started right away with music selection and details, offered photography service, and were extremely reasonably priced! We asked for a party atmosphere reception and they more than delivered, every single person was out there dancing. Everyone told us it was the most fun they'd ever had and we owe a lot of that to Soundwave DJ's. Not only was the DJ outstanding but the photography was amazing as well. Being one of two photographers Marie was wonderful and thought up new and creative ideas for pictures. Not only was she great at the wedding and reception, but she was also a blast to be around. Many of our guests commented on how sweet and accommodating both the photographer and the DJ were. Marie was also fantastic by putting up the pictures online in only a couple days, while we are still waiting on our other photographers pictures! It was great to be able to share the website with friends and family so quickly and easily! We have nothing but good things to say about Soundwave DJ's and are more than glad to recommend them to everyone. We used Soundwave DJ's for our wedding reception, the quality of music, the dj, mixing of the songs, and selection were amazing; better than we could have dreamed. We also had the lights package and it was that added extra effect for the reception that put the night over the top. At a reception they just dim the lights and people dance, with the lights package, it kept the guest up beat and dancing all night. Soundwave DJ's kept every guest, young and old, on the floor the entire night, no one stopped dancing! We also had a wedding with two different culture, two languages of songs, two different dancing styles that the dj blended together perfectly. We had our guests come up to us after and say it was the best music and blending they're ever heard at a wedding. We highly recommend Soundwave dj's, they were amazing.

Dear Soundwave DJ's,

I just wanted to thank you so much for providing such outstanding service. Our D.J., Matt, beyond exceeded our expectations. Despite the groom falling ill at the reception, our D.J. took control and transformed the mood from slightly somber to celebratory. It is doubtful we would find any other sound system who would easily improvise the remainder of the reception after the bride and groom left. What remains most memorable of the night is when we(bride &
groom) came back and the D.J. without hesitation did the introductions, first dance, bouquet toss, and garter ceremony at 10pm!
Our D.J. encouraged us to do the formalities because he was thoughtful and knew we needed some cheering up. It was awesome! Our friends called it, "an epic comeback", and we credit our D.J. 100%.
All of our guests loved the innovative mix of music including songs for all ages. Our grandparents were dancing alongside our "20somethings" bridal party and friends. After attending many weddings, we can say it is tough to accomplish such a feat. In addition, Soundwave D.J.'s communication to us before and after the wedding was very professional,thorough, considerate, and personable.
The one-on-one attention we received was unrivaled as compared to the other five vendors we had involved with the wedding planning. I asked my mother, a harsh critic, to rate your service on a scale of 1 - 10, she replied, "22" without hesitation. Our bridal party, friends, and family rated Soundwave D.J.'s a 10 without any contemplation. Also, many of our friends and family raved how they had not danced so much in ages. Upon coming back to the reception, an uncle said, "Even though you guys missed part of the reception, just look at the dance floor; you can't beat that". Again, thank you so much for your effort, time, and extra caring that went into providing the sound system for our wedding. You guys are AWESOME!!
